The purpose of this role will be to support our communities to achieve overall move-in and occupancy goals. This position will include short term assignments in our communities to coordinate the implementation of inside sales and referral-based networking strategies. Developing a team environment with Corporate Senior Housing Marketing and Sales, on-site Director of Sales & Marketing, community and corporate-based operations staff and the marketing and advertising agency.

The Role:

  • Works on location at communities providing sales support, assisting with inquiries and prospect experiences to achieve sales goals.
  • Implements sales strategies as identified for each assignment. This may include input in the development of the marketing plan and budget recommendation.
  • Participates in the facilitation of prospecting activities or strategies. This may include providing coaching support to enhance prospecting activities or actively engaging in prospecting activities.
  • At the direction of the SHMS team member responsible for the project and the Executive Director, observes and engages where needed to ensure that sales management processes are effectively implemented.
  • Actively participates, mentors, and leads community team in network and outreach activity including resident and professional referral programs.
  • Supports prospect and professional referral event strategies to drive attendance, engagement, referrals, and next steps in the decision-making process.
  • Works with community staff to assure that each community is utilizing all the capabilities of the CRM system, SalesForce.
  • Analyzes marketing and sales data, as well as helps to discover competitive market data when needed.
  • In conjunction with the community team, provides set-up and oversight of marketing and sales reporting for each community to ensure consistent reporting mechanisms.
  • Assures implementation and adherence, as well as support training of the approved LCS SalesFirst process, department best practices, and support systems for each location.
  • Participates in the recruitment and on-board of on-site sales staff associated with each assignment including intensive oversight to ensure that their performance targets meet or exceed expectations. The oversight period may vary by assignment based on team performance and staff needs.
  • Work with individuals that are not meeting sales goals and/or below volume or ratio expectations and provide additional personal coaching.
  • Works to gain sales personally and as part of the team during each assignment.
  • Provides input for sales incentive plans, as needed.
  • Supports operations through close partnership and consistent communication with the assignment Executive Director and the assigned Director of Operations Management.

Experience:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree
  • Three to five years of experience in Senior Housing with demonstrated sales success and trends in improvement in occupancy and obtaining set goals.

Knowledge & Experience

  • Position will require training presentation and coaching skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple assigned sites. May include developing new sales areas and/or offices and establishing sales policies, start-up procedures and ongoing site goals.
  • Demonstrated sales experience and willingness to engage in sales presentations when on-site.
  • Knowledge of and special sensitivity to the needs of the aging.
  • Strong employee management communication skills.
  • Accomplished in training, coaching and motivating sales staff.
  • Ability to work independently with self-discipline and self-motivation.
  • Excellent customer service skills in communication, listening and directing.
